Zirka JDY-40 - Carrier board for JDY-40 module. Allows you to match the module with a pitch of 2.54 mm, as well as expand the supply voltage range.
Many are familiar with the JDY-40 module, which can be programmed without knowledge of programming languages and development tools, using AT commands.
The inconvenience of the module is not a standard step of the available contacts.
The carrier board allows the module to be used with a 2.54 mm pitch. This makes it possible to install it on breadboards for quick assembly and prototyping of devices. When using male 1-row PLS connectors, the solderless board can be connected to the appropriate PBS or BLS female connectors.
The board has two additional contacts: GND - for easy connection of the board and VIN, which expands the supply voltage range from 3.7 to 5 V.
The low voltage regulator RT9013 allows you to power the module from a single 3.7 V lithium-ion battery. You cannot power the module directly with this voltage, since the maximum supply voltage of the JDY-40 module is 3.6 V.
The board can be powered from a voltage of 5 V, which opens up a wide choice of power source (USB from a computer, power supply, power banks, Ni-MH and NiCd batteries, or chemical AA-AAA cells for 1.5 V).
Thus, the JDY-40 module can be powered by three common voltages: 3.3 V, 3.7 V and 5 V.
The I/O pins P1-P8 correspond to the GPIO1-GPIO8 pins on the module.
